San Diego Unified School District partnered with the University of California, Irvine to create the K-2 Teaching Artist Project (TAP), funded by a USDE Arts in Education Model Development and Dissemination grant. Lessons are 50 minutes, and are designed to meet both the ELD standards and the now-outdated 2001 Visual and Performing Arts standards. The lessons and video demonstrations, as well as research findings, can be found for free or at https://sites.uci.edu/class/.
