Youth attending designated school sites and demonstrating mild to moderate mental health symptoms. School Personnel Services accessed at the following school sites: Central Elem, Ibarra Elem, Admas Elem, Cherokee Pt. Elem Services provided onsite by Marriage & Family Therapy Trainee's; Trainees are supervised by Dr. Brent Taylor. Dr. Taylor is a clinical supervisor responsible for the onsite supervision of Trainees from SDSU.
City Heights Partnership Project: Price Philanthropies (MOU & Contract) Select School Sites No cost, services funded by Price Philanthropies. Youth attending designated school sites and demonstrating mild to moderate mental health symptoms or need resources/referrals. School Personnel Services accessed at the following school sites: Clark Middle, Wilson Middle, Rosa Parks Elem, Hoover High Services provided by LCSW's, ASW's and ASW Trainees. Mending Matters (MOU) Select School Site No cost, services funded by donations to the school site Foundation. Youth attending designated school demonstrating mild mental health sx's. School Personnel Youth Services accessed at the following school: Scripps Ranch High Mending Matters has a Board approved MOU. MM clinicians provide onsite individual/group therapy, with parent consent.

San Diego Youth Services: Suicide Prevention SOS (PsychoEducation) Select School Sites No cost psycho-educational services. HHSA Behavior Health Services funds SDYS. Youth and personnel at designated school sites will receive suicide prevention curricula in classroom settings. Principal Schools chosen based on data; target schools are those with high numbers of EP-10's. For additional information you can contact the Counseling & Guidance Department. Additional target schools chosen on a yearly basis.
Youth Mental Health First Aid Training School sites or ERO sign up No cost training, funded by LEA dollars earned by the MHRC department. Adults interested in developing skills in order to support & respond to students experiencing emotional distress. Staff may sign up in ERO. Substitutes are not provided. All school personnel may obtain approval to may obtain approval to attend. Parent groups may be trained as well. Principal Principals at target schools will be contacted by MHRC Lead Clinicians to set up services. Services focus on providing classroom groups, small pull out groups and parent groups.
